Message from ASA
Hello ASA Families! πŸ’›πŸΎ

Thank you to all the families who came out to support our fourth- and fifth-grade students during their recent performances. Didn’t they do a wonderful job? We are so proud of their hard work, confidence, and talentβ€”it truly showed on stage!

This is a friendly reminder that there will be no school on Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day. This holiday honors the leaders of our nation, past and present, and gives us an opportunity to reflect on the values of leadership, service, and dedication to our country. We are excited to share that we have additional fifth-grade performances taking place this week. We look forward to seeing our supportive families in attendance as our students continue to shine.

This week, we will also be hosting Student-Led Celebrations. Families are encouraged to coordinate directly with teachers to schedule a time to attend and celebrate your child’s learning and achievements.

Lastly, we are excited to celebrate Chinese New Year as a school community! This year marks the Year of the Horse, which symbolizes energy, strength, confidence, and perseveranceβ€”wonderful qualities we see in our students every day. We look forward to recognizing this special holiday together.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

Warmly,
Ms. Holt

8th Grade Panoramic Picture DATE CHANGE

Dear 8th Grade Families,

The 8th grade panoramic picture is coming up on FEBRUARY 26TH. Please ensure that your student is dressed in proper dress code for their picture.

There is no money due on picture day.

Consistent attendance builds responsibility, character and readiness for the future.
From February 17 through March 6, 2026, all Allegiance STEAM Academy students (TK–8) have the opportunity to be entered into a special drawing β€” simply by demonstrating consistency and commitment.

Students who meet this expectation will be entered into a drawing for a Family Fun Night at an Ontario Reign hockey game in a private suite with food included. Thanks to the generous support of BCM Group, Inc. Construction Management, two families from our Chino campus and two families from our Fontana campus will win.

  • Students with 100% attendance from February 16 through March 6, 2026 will be entered into a random drawing
  • Each winning family may bring up to four family members.
  • Chino Winners will attend Saturday, March 14
To qualify, students must have:
β€’ Zero absences (No excused or unexcused)
β€’ Zero tardies
β€’ Zero early pickups
Short-term Independent Study may be utilized for unavoidable absences. Contact your school's attendance office to learn more.

At ASA, attendance is more than a requirement β€” it is preparation for college, career and life readiness. Let's work together to help students understand that consistency matters.

Let’s show up β€” together.

🌟 Social-Emotional Learning Focus of the Week: Coping Strategies

This week, our Wolves are learning about coping strategies β€” tools we can use to manage emotions, challenges, and stress in healthy ways. Students are discovering that different strategies work for different people, and having a variety of coping tools helps them respond to big feelings with confidence and self-awareness. Learning to cope effectively supports emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. πŸ’ΌπŸΊπŸ’›
Reflection Questions for Home:
  • What coping strategies help you feel calm or focused?
  • When might you need to use a coping strategy?
  • How can you tell when it’s time to pause and use one?

🌈Coping Strategy Activities for Home

1.Coping Toolbox
Create a list or box of coping tools (breathing, music, drawing, movement).

2.Try a New Strategy
Practice one new coping skill together and talk about how it felt.

3.Modeling Coping
Adults model using coping strategies out loud to normalize them.

Practicing coping strategies at home helps our Wolves feel empowered and emotionally capable. πŸ’›πŸΊβ
