Message from ASA
Hello ASA Families! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿพ

Thank you to all of our 8th grade students who were present for the panoramic photo. This commemorative tradition marks an important milestone in their educational journey and serves as a lasting memory of their time at ASA.

We are also looking forward to our Color Run Kick Off assembly taking place this week. canโ€™t wait to see the energy and enthusiasm our students bring to the celebration.

Please note that report cards will be sent home this Friday. We encourage families to review them carefully, acknowledge accomplishments, and have meaningful conversations about goals for continued growth

Additionally, our final Friday fire drill has been rescheduled to Monday at 9:15 a.m. due to the field being painted in preparation for the Crosstown Showdown.

We had a great time on Saturday with our ASA Community from both campuses for the Cross Town Showdown. It was great to watch parents and students cheering our all athletes as they competed in Cross Country, Soccer and Volleyball. The spirit was high with Cheer Teams from both campuses and the drum line from Fontana. Thank you to EVERYONE who showed up to support all of our Wolves!

Thank you for your continued partnership and support in making ASA a thriving and positive learning community.

Warmly,
Ms. Holt

๐ŸŒŸ Social-Emotional Learning Focus of the Week: Teamwork๐ŸŒŸ

This week, our Wolves are learning aboutย teamworkย โ€” working together respectfully and cooperatively to reach a shared goal. Students are exploring how listening, sharing ideas, encouraging others, and taking responsibility all contribute to strong teams. Teamwork helps children build communication skills, empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities.ย Thi
When students learn to collaborate effectively, they discover that everyone brings unique strengths to a group โ€” and that we are stronger together.
Reflection Questions for Home:
  • What does being a good teammate look and sound like?
  • How can you contribute positively when working in a group?
  • How do you handle disagreements while still being respectful?

๐ŸŒˆTeamwork Activities for Home

1.Family Challenge (All Ages)
Work together to complete a task โ€” cooking a meal, building something, cleaning a shared space, or solving a puzzle. Reflect on how everyone contributed.

2.Compliment Circle (All Ages)
Take turns sharing one strength or positive quality about each family member to reinforce appreciation and collaboration.

3.Problem-Solving Practice (Upper Grades)
Present a small family challenge and brainstorm solutions together, encouraging respectful discussion and compromise.

Practicing teamwork at home reinforces collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility โ€” helping our Wolves grow into supportive and capable community members.ย ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿบโญ
