Message from ASA
Hello ASA Families! 💛🐾

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students at the track meet! Your energy and encouragement truly made a difference—our students felt the excitement and ran their hearts out. There’s nothing better than seeing our ASA community come together to cheer, celebrate, and have fun!
8th graders, we are so excited for your upcoming field trip to Planes of Fame! What an amazing opportunity to explore history up close and see some incredible aircraft. Get ready for a day full of discovery, fun, and unforgettable memories!

Parents, please be sure to stop by and check our lost and found. It is currently overflowing with items! All unclaimed belongings will be donated at the end of the school day on Friday the 27th, so we encourage you to take a look before then.

And finally, after this week… it’s Spring Break! We know everyone is looking forward to some well-deserved rest and time with family. Let’s finish the week strong and head into the break refreshed and ready for what’s ahead!

Warmly,
Ms. Holt

🌟 Social-Emotional Learning Focus of the Week: Goals🌟

This week, our Wolves are learning about goal-setting — identifying something they want to achieve and creating a plan to work toward it. Students are discovering that setting goals helps them stay focused, motivated, and confident. By breaking goals into smaller steps, children learn perseverance and develop a sense of accomplishment when they see their progress. 💛🐺🎯

Goal-setting builds responsibility, resilience, and self-belief.

Reflection Questions for Home:
  • What is one goal you’d like to work toward?
  • What small steps can help you reach that goal?
  • How will you celebrate your progress?

🌈Goal-Setting Activities for Home

1.SMART Goal Practice (Upper Grades)
Help your child set a goal that is Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.

2.Step-by-Step Plan (All Ages)
Break a goal into smaller action steps and track progress visually.

3.Family Goal Board (All Ages)
Create a shared board with personal and family goals.

Supporting goal-setting at home helps our Wolves build motivation and confidence in their abilities 💛🐺⭐
