Message from ASA
Hello ASA Families! 💛🐾

I hope you all had a wonderful week! Here at middle school, we enjoyed so many fun events and memorable moments. A special thank you to all of our 8th graders who joined us for the 8th grade dance—it was a fantastic evening filled with energy, laughter, and great memories!

Looking ahead to the upcoming week, we want to remind everyone that our regular Board Meeting will take place on Monday the 11th at 5:30 PM. We encourage all families to attend—whether you have questions, concerns, or simply want to be more involved, your voice matters and helps strengthen our school community.

We are also incredibly excited for our 1st graders as they prepare for their upcoming performance. We can’t wait to see all their hard work, creativity, and dedication come to life on stage!
STEAM Live is happening this Thursday! Please remember that it will be a minimum day schedule. We look forward to welcoming families on campus to experience and celebrate all the amazing projects and learning your students have been doing in their enrichment classes.

To wrap up the week, we’ll have one of our favorite traditions—the annual 8th Grade vs. Staff softball game! We hope all of our 8th graders will come out and join the fun. Will the students take the crown, or will the staff defend their title? Either way, it’s sure to be a game full of laughs, friendly competition, and school spirit! Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to another great week together!

Warmly,
Ms. Holt

🌟 Social-Emotional Learning Focus of the Week: Summer Safety🌟

This week, our Wolves are learning about summer safety — making smart, responsible choices while having fun during the summer months. Students are exploring how to stay safe in the sun, around water, and when spending time outdoors or online. Safety helps children build awareness, responsibility, and independence. ⭐💛🐺
When students understand how to make safe choices, they are better prepared to enjoy their summer while taking care of themselves and others.
Reflection Questions for Home:
What are some ways to stay safe when playing outside or near water?
Why is it important to listen to adults’ safety rules?
How can you help keep yourself and your friends safe during summer activities?

🌈 Summer Safety Activities for Home

Safety Scenarios (All Ages)
Talk through different summer situations (at the pool, park, or home) and discuss what safe choices look like.
Sun Safety Routine (All Ages)
Practice applying sunscreen, wearing hats, and staying hydrated as part of your daily routine.
Create a Safety Plan (Upper Grades)
Work together to create rules or a checklist for staying safe when home alone or out with friends.
Reinforcing summer safety at home helps students build responsibility and awareness — empowering them to have a fun and safe summer.
