Family Education Night: Two Workshops. One Evening. Tools for a Lifetime.

ASA families, you're invited to our first Family Education Night of the 2026–27 school year on Wednesday, October 7, in the Den at ASA Chino!

Join us for one workshop—or stay for both—as we explore practical ways to help our children develop skills that will serve them in school, at home, and throughout their lives.

📚 4:15–5:15 PM | Literacy Parent Workshop
Building Readers, Thinkers, and Lifelong Learners
Reading is the foundation for learning across every subject. In this interactive workshop, families will explore simple strategies for strengthening vocabulary, comprehension, critical thinking, and a love of reading at home. You'll practice ways to make reading more meaningful through predicting, questioning, conversation, and real-world connections—and leave with ideas for creating a family reading routine that works for you.

💰 5:30–5:6:30 PM | Financial Literacy Workshop
Building Financial Confidence for the Future
Financial literacy is an important life skill—and it's never too early to begin the conversation. Join a financial expert for a practical family workshop exploring healthy money habits and concepts such as budgeting, saving, credit, debt, and preparing young people for greater financial independence. This session also complements the financial literacy learning taking place with our middle school students at ASA. This session is middle school student and parent-focused. Childcare will be provided after 5:30 PM for younger siblings. Please RSVP for childcare to secure a spot.
