New Family Orientations

At ASA, we believe that parents are essential partners in every child's success. To help your family start the school year with confidence, we invite all new ASA families to attend our New Family Orientation, followed by the grade-level orientation session(s) that apply to your student(s).

All new families should plan to attend:

• New Family Orientation (for all new ASA families) - Thursday, July 23, 2026, 4:30 pm
• The grade-level orientation(s) that correspond with your child's grade level:
  • Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Orientation - Wednesday, July 15, 9:00 am or 4:00 pm
  • Middle School Orientation (Grades 7 & 8) - Wednesday, July 22, 2026, 9:00 am or 5:00 pm

Families with children in multiple grade levels are encouraged to attend each applicable orientation session.

New Family Orientation

Our New Family Orientation is designed to introduce you to the ASA community and provide the essential information every new family needs before the first day of school.

During this session, you'll learn about:

• School expectations and dress code
• Drop-off and pick-up procedures
• What a typical school day looks like
• How to stay organized and prepared
• Clubs, electives, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities
• Helpful tips for a smooth transition to ASA
• How we partner with families to support student success
• A live Q&A with school staff

You'll also have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet members of our team, and connect with other new ASA families as you begin your journey with the Wolfpack.

Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten Orientation

Starting school is an exciting milestone, and we're here to help make it a positive experience for your whole family. This session is designed specifically for our youngest learners and their families, covering everything you need to know before the first day of school while providing plenty of time to ask questions.

Middle School Orientation (Grades 7 & 8)

Beginning middle school is an exciting new chapter! During this session, students and families will learn about class schedules, planners, PE lockers, clubs, electives, athletics, and strategies for a successful transition to middle school.

Middle School families: PE uniforms will be available for purchase during orientation.

• Cost: $20 total ($10 shirt, $10 shorts)
• Payment: Cash or check only
